Nielsen Mobile Insight’s report indicates that smartphone sales in the U.S. captured nearly 50% of the market in February, 2012. That’s an impressive increase from less than 37% a year ago! 
At SellYourCell.com we are almost exclusively buying smartphones now. Our customers are not interested in buying “dumb” phones and so we are buying very few non-smartphone models.
The top two smartphone operating systems sold in February were, not surprisingly, Android and IOS. Blackberry pulls up the rear with a small percentage of the purchases.
