Rumors have been bouncing around the press for months about the release of the iPad 3 and it appears that it is finally coming – and soon! The latest rumored release date is March 7th. Here are the latest rumors on the specifications for the iPad 3. Note that we have no inside knowledge but read all of this on the internet so it MUST be true.
The consensus opinion is that the iPad 3 will be similar in form to the iPad 2 but will have improved graphics and speed. It is reported that it will have a 2048 x 1536 Retina Display. What does that mean? Well, it is twice the iPad 2′s resolution but not as high a resolution as the iPhone 4s. It should look great. The iPad 3 is expected to have LTE and it is expected to run on 4G networks (at least for AT&T;). It should also sport a faster processor.
There have been a lot of other wilder rumors but we feel safe in projecting a faster iPad with a better display. Otherwise, why bother to release a new iPad at all?
